Chattanooga Firefighter’s Food Drive

August 15 – 21, 2011
Station #19 is the winner for 2011 collecting the most food.

Each year Chattanooga firefighters pull out donation barrels from the Food Bank giving people the opportunity to help them in the fight against hunger.  The firefighters will tell you that this is the toughest fight they take on each year.  Mostly because they can’t do it alone.

To help, simply drop off food donations at any of the local firestations.  The green barrels will be outside for your convenience.

The Food Bank is sincerely grateful to the Chattanooga firefighters, not only because of their everyday heroism, but because of their support in the fight against hunger.

This year, Firehouse Subs will be donating a delicious free lunch to the fireman of the station that collects the most food.  So get out there and support your favorite stations.  A yummy meal could be in their future!
