Food Drives

Simply put, food drives help the Chattanooga Area Food Bank feed the hungry. Food drive donations are instrumental to our Emergency Food Box program and contribute to many of our other feeding programs.  We accept all non-perishable food items, but our biggest needs are: canned fruit/vegetables, canned meats (tuna, chicken), cornmeal, dry beans, flour, fruit/vegetable juice, grits, oats, pasta, peanut butter, rice, soups (chili, beef stew, vegetable soup etc).

Virtual Food Drives

Rather than collecting non-perishable food bought at retail prices, virtual food drives collect funds.  Through corporate partnerships and bulk buying, the Chattanooga Area Food Bank is able to purchase food at ten times the average consumer’s buying power.  Because of this, we can truly stretch the dollar and provide more meals through virtual food drives.  No donation is too large or too small!
