Emergency Food Box

The Food Bank prepares fifty pound boxes of non-perishable foods which are distributed to families struggling to put food on their tables.  Area agencies issue vouchers to the individuals and their families.   Many of these clients are retired and disabled, living on a fixed income.  Others are the “working poor”, earning barely enough to pay their monthly bills with little left for food.

Last year, 20,845 boxes were shared with more than 2,000 families each month.
