“We’ve been before, but it’s been a while.”

Jeff and Amanda have two girls – Tessa (2) and Lena (9). Jeff works in construction, but it can be inconsistent due to weather and other factors. Amber used to work outside the home, but due to rising child care costs she now stays home with their girls.

The family of four receives monthly SNAP benefits, but they don’t stretch far enough to provide nutritious meals for their family, especially when school lets out. That’s when they turned to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank (Food Bank).

Thanks to Walmart and Sam's Club's "Fight Hunger. Spark Change." campaign and incredible support year round, the Food Bank has the ability to continue to provide healthy meals, including fresh fruits and vegetables, to families like Jeff and Amanda's.

Help the Food Bank fight hunger and spark change in Southeast Tennessee and Northwest Georgia by purchasing participating items in-store, in-club and online and donating at the register until the end of the day on May 20. Donations can also be made online at Feeding America's website.
