FREE Mocs Basketball

The UTC Mocs basketball teams are joining forces with the Food Bank once again, to fill our pantry and offer you FREE tickets to see them play.

For only 3 canned food items you can see the Women’s Basketball Team take on the UNCG at 5:30p.m. in the McKenzie Arena.  Then stay to watch the Men’s Basketball Team take on Georgia Southern at 7:30p.m.

That’s right, 3 cans, both games, FREE!

The Food Bank does not have tickets to the game.  Please take your cans to any of the gates on game day to receive your voucher to see the game for free.

We are also looking for some people to volunteer at the gates to help the Food Bank collect the cans and distribute the game vouchers.  Email Jonathan Evans if you are interested:  jevans@chattfoodbank.org.

CANstruction is a unique event partners architects with middle school students in Hamilton County. They form teams and create awesome structures made out of non-perishable food items.

The public can come to see the structures for free at Warehouse Row from February 19th – February 23rd.

The other piece of the event is the unCANventional ball that happens on February 18th at 7pm at Warehouse Row.
