Receive an emergency food box

If you live in Hamilton County, dial 211 for emergency food assistance or call (423) 265-8000.

Sign up for government assistance

Food is available at no cost for residents that meet government requirements.

  • USDA Commodity Program
    Learn more by visiting the Tennessee TEFAP Program website. If you live in Hamilton County, fill out the online form to secure a USDA Commodities card. Learn about upcoming distribution events by calling 423-622-FOOD (3663).

  • Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP)
    Formerly known as the Food Stamp Program, SNAP provides food-purchasing assistance for low- and no-income people living in the U.S. Learn more by visiting the USDA SNAP website. The Food Bank provides assistance with signing up for this program. Please contact our SNAP Associate by calling 706-330-4562.
