Welcome to The Chattanooga Area Food Bank

We need your help! Food Bank supplies are getting low. Food donations are down 1 million pounds from last year while demand for food boxes alone has increased 12% over the same period. Operation costs have increased while corporate donations have decreased. We currently have a special need for: Canned peas and vegetables Canned meat and juices Dry beans, rice, oatmeal, and cornmeal Individual donations can be dropped off at the food bank at 2009 Curtain Pole Rd. For information on how you can organize a food drive at your church, workplace, neighborhood, or club call the food bank at (423) 622-1800.

Wellness Day - On Eagle’s Wings 2009 July 11, 8 a.m. – 11 a.m.
Wellness Day 2009 is an outreach project of the Special Events, Women, and the Fitness & Wellness Ministry of Olivet Baptist Church. Benefiting the Chattanooga Area Food Bank, this event is a day filled with a 1.5 mile run/walk, health fair & blood drive. Click here for the event brochure and registration form.

Attention Gardeners: The Food Bank will gratefully accept your fresh garden produce. Fresh fruits and vegetables dropped off in the morning will be distributed to our neighbors in need by the end of the day.
