host a food drive

Thank you for your interest in hosting a food drive! Food drives provide needed donations for those facing hunger in our region. We are grateful for all non-perishable food, but are especially in need of the items listed below.

  • Single servings of mac & cheese*
  • Single servings of oatmeal*
  • Peanut butter
  • Canned ready to eat meals with easy open tab (such as 7.5oz and 15oz ravioli, pork & beans, chili, etc.)
  • Canned fruits & veggies (peaches, pears, green beans, corn, peas)
  • Canned meats (tuna, chicken, salmon, ham)
*Single servings of mac & cheese and oatmeal are included in “sack packs,” which are lovingly assembled by volunteers for children who face weekend hunger without the free and reduced price meals they receive at school. In our service area of 20 counties in southeast Tennessee and northwest Georgia, 1 in 5 children does not know where their next meal will come from.

Interested in hosting food drive? Complete the form below and we will be in touch with you shortly. Please allow two business days for your request to be processed.

HOST An online fundraiser

Every $1 donated to the Chattanooga Area Food Bank helps to provide 4 meals. Through corporate partnerships and bulk buying, the Food Bank is able to stretch a dollar further than you'd ever imagine. For that reason, many people may prefer to donate funds instead of food. Online fundraisers can be successful when paired with a food drive or administered alone.

Starting an online fundraiser is easy to do. We'll give you all the tools you'll need to make a difference. Click below to create your personalized fundraising page.
