Virtual Food Drives

We can do more with a dollar than you ever imagined. Through corporate partnerships and bulk buying, the Food Bank purchases significantly more food than an individual consumer can purchase with the same amount of money. That’s why we encourage virtual food drives, which collect funds instead of food.

Traditional Food Drives

Every item of food we receive will go into the hands of the hungry, usually by way of our Emergency Food Box program. We accept all non-perishable items, but are always in need of any of the items listed below.

  • canned fruit/vegetables
  • cornmeal
  • flour
  • grits
  • pasta
  • rice
  • canned meats
  • dry beans
  • fruit/vegetable juice
  • oats
  • peanut butter
  • soups

Interested in starting a traditional food drive? Complete the form below and our Food Drive Coordinator will be in touch with you shortly to confirm your details. Please allow two business days for your request to be processed. Thank you for your interest in supporting our efforts to eliminate hunger in our region.

Eliminating hunger calls for more than money and resources. It calls for people and energy. At the CAFB, becoming a volunteer or initiating food drives gives you the opportunity to fight against the causes of hunger, and to effect a change you can see.
